**New this season, we're offering home vegetable gardens as a part of our landscaping services! For about the cost of hiring a company to mow your lawn, you can have us come plant and maintain your vegetable garden for you! You decide what you want us to plant, and we come at the right times to put it in the ground, weed it, thin it, and organically manage insects and diseases in it. We'll even harvest the ripe stuff when we come and leave it in a cooler for you, or donate whatever you don't want to hungry Idaho families! For more information, click here.
**2012 brought our biggest seed crop to date! We saved over 50 varieties, and packaged 33 of them to sell. They're available at the North End Organic Nursery, Edwards Greenhouse, and the Boise Co-op. For 2012, we are expanding our seed production, with a wish list of 90 varieties to save! Locally-adapted seeds are crucial to our local food security, and we're happy to be filling that need and creating a niche for ourselves at the same time!
**We are full up for the 2012 CSA! Consider having us plant a vegetable garden for you instead, or check out our friends' CSAs! Lori Bevan has Field Goods Farm in Southeast Boise, Marty Camberlango has City Gardens in Garden City, and Carrie Jones has flower CSA shares through her Draggin' Wing Farm!
**We have chosen our 2012 Apprentices! We couldn't be happier with the new crew--they're an amazing, intelligent, driven group, and I look forward to working alongside them this season! Check back for updates and opportunities to meet them!

OUR first annual WEED DATING event was a
total success! Check back for a video about it, made by our friends Bob
Vestal with Star Garnet Media and Brandon Follett with Earthworm Envy!
Check out the Year of Idaho Food! We've been writing essays for this cool, grassroots project, and have been featured on Edible Idaho on NPR and in the Boise Weekly.
Earthly Delights Farm is a small-scale, human-powered urban farm in Northwest Boise offering high-quality veggies, fruits, herbs, and flowers to local Treasure Valley folks. We also house chickens and bees on the farm, though we don't always have eggs or honey for sale. Our produce is available through an 18-week subscription (click on the CSA Program tab to the left for more information). Newsletters below give a flavor of the farm, and also outline what members got each week...
Human-powered farming means the farm relies on people, using their bodies, fueled by their breakfasts, to do work, rather than fossil fueled machines. We use hand tools almost exclusively in our gardens, and transport ourselves and our veggies by bicycle.
